a. Hạ Du là một người chiến sĩ cách mạng đáng trọng:
– Xuất hiện gián tiếp thông qua thái độ của người kể chuyện và lời bàn tán các nhân vật trong truyện.
– Là một chiến sĩ cách mạng có tấm lòng yêu nước sâu sắc, anh thấu hiểu được việc phải giải phóng dân tộc khỏi ách áp bức bóc lột của quân phát xít Nhật.
– Là một trong những người thức tỉnh sớm và sáng suốt tiêu biểu giữa một cộng đồng dân tộc rộng lớn còn đang say ngủ, u mê cả về khoa học lẫn chính trị.
+ Khi đã bị bắt vào tù, cố gắng thuyết phục và rủ đề lao cùng làm “giặc”, trở thành chí sĩ cách mạng.
+ Câu tuyên truyền mà anh nói với lão Nghĩa mắt cá chép: “Thiên hạ nhà Mãn Thanh chính là của chúng ta”.
→ Lý tưởng lật đổ ngai vàng, xóa bỏ chế độ phong kiến đớn hèn, ngu ngục, giành chính quyền về tay nhân dân. Đồng thời cũng thể hiện ý thức bảo vệ đất nước, đánh đuổi ngoại tộc, giành lại độc lập, tự chủ cho đất nước.
b. Hạ Du là một người đáng thương, cô độc:
– Việc giác ngộ sớm giữa cả cộng đồng còn đang mê ngủ, đẩy Hạ Du vào tình cảnh lạc lõng và trơ trọi. Không ai thấu hiểu việc anh làm, người ta xa lánh, sợ hãi, thậm chí họ còn chửi anh là kẻ điên, thứ phản động đáng phải nhận sự trừng phạt thích đáng.
– Cái chết của Hạ Du lại còn là do một tay người chú ruột sắp đặt, để nhận thưởng.
– Cái chết của anh trở thành thứ họ mong ngóng để hứng lấy máu làm “thần dược” trị bệnh.
– Không chỉ những người ngoài, Hạ Du còn đáng thương hơn nữa bởi chính người mẹ rứt ruột đẻ ra anh cũng không hiểu được những việc con mình làm là cao quý, là xứng đáng, bà xấu hổ khi đến thăm mộ con, ngập ngừng không dám bước sang khu mộ của những người bị xử tử vì sợ phải điều tiếng.
→ Anh chính là hình ảnh biểu trưng cho cuộc cách mạng Tân Hợi của Trung Quốc, góp phần đánh đổ chế độ phong kiến lạc hậu, lỗi thời, nhưng vì sự xa rời quần chúng, không đạt được sự ủng hộ của đa số dân chúng nên đã phải chấp nhận rơi vào thất bại.

II. Bài văn mẫu Phân tích nhân vật Hạ Du trong tác phẩm Thuốc của Lỗ Tấn
Lỗ Tấn (1881-1936), là một nhà văn nổi tiếng của Trung Quốc, đại diện cho thành tựu của nền văn học hiện đại nước này, được Mao Trạch Đông vinh danh là “là thánh nhân của vô sản cũng như Khổng Tử là thánh nhân của phong kiến”, với gia tài những tác phẩm mang giá trị thời đại xuất sắc. Bắt đầu bằng khao khát cứu chữa bệnh tật cho con người, nhưng sau nhiều trải nghiệm và ánh nhìn sâu sắc, rõ ràng Lỗ Tấn đã nhận ra rằng vào thế kỷ thứ 20, người Trung Quốc đều mắc chung một thứ bệnh mà không thuốc men nào có thể chữa được, đó là căn bệnh hèn yếu, dốt nát và mê tín. Lỗ Tấn nhận thấy rằng bản thân phải tìm ra một thứ “thuốc” khác, chữa lành cái tinh thần u mê của dân tộc mình lúc bấy giờ, và còn gì thích hợp hơn là những giá trị tinh thần được truyền tải trên các trang văn nữa. Ông chính thức bỏ nghề y, theo nghiệp văn vô sản, khai sáng đồng bào từ đó. Thuốc là một trong những tác phẩm nổi tiếng nhất của Lỗ Tấn, cũng đồng thời truyền bá được tư tưởng của nhà văn về một thứ “thuốc” làm cho dân chúng giác ngộ được cách mạng và gắn bó với cách mạng, chứ không phải tiếp tục u mê, dốt nát với những hủ tục và các phương thuốc điên rồ được nữa. Trong tác phẩm nhân vật Hạ Du là một trong hai khía cạnh của xã hội mà Lỗ Tấn muốn đề cập đến, anh đại diện cho cách mạng Trung Quốc lúc bấy giờ.
Hạ Du xuất hiện trong tác phẩm trong một sự kiện thật khiến người ta phải trăn trở suy nghĩ. Anh không một lần nào xuất hiện trực tiếp trong tác phẩm mà chỉ thấp thông qua thái độ của người kể chuyện và lời bàn tán các nhân vật trong truyện. Với người kể truyện Hạ Du là một người đáng trọng, đáng thương xót nhưng cũng lại là người đáng trách. Đáng kính trọng ở chỗ anh là một chiến sĩ cách mạng có tấm lòng yêu nước sâu sắc, anh thấu hiểu được việc phải giải phóng dân tộc khỏi ách áp bức bóc lột của quân phát xít Nhật. Được xem là một trong những người thức tỉnh sớm và sáng suốt tiêu biểu giữa một cộng đồng dân tộc rộng lớn còn đang say ngủ, u mê cả về khoa học lẫn chính trị. Tư thế người cách mạng đi tiên phong của anh được thể hiện một cách rõ nét trong việc khi đã bị bắt vào tù, xác định đường chết nhưng Hạ Du vẫn rất kiên cường, một lòng với cách mạng, cố gắng thuyết phục và rủ đề lao cùng làm “giặc”, trở thành chí sĩ cách mạng. Tuy nhiên thật đáng buồn rằng sự nỗ lực của anh đã bị đáp lại mang những lời mắng chửi, cùng với những trận đòn đau vì người ta nghĩ anh bị điên, anh là thứ giặc đáng chết. Bên cạnh đó tấm lòng yêu nước, lòng tự tôn dân tộc, ý thức giác ngộ của anh còn được thể hiện trong câu tuyên truyền mà anh nói với lão Nghĩa mắt cá chép rằng: “Thiên hạ nhà Mãn Thanh chính là của chúng ta”. Điều đó thể hiện lý tưởng của một nhà cách mạng vô sản lúc bấy giờ chính là lật đổ ngai vàng, xóa bỏ chế độ phong kiến đớn hèn, ngu ngục, giành chính quyền về tay nhân dân. Đồng thời cũng thể hiện ý thức bảo vệ đất nước, đánh đuổi ngoại tộc, giành lại độc lập, tự chủ cho đất nước.
Tuy nhiên Hạ Du dẫu có mang những lý tưởng to lớn, vẻ vang và tốt đẹp đáng được kính trọng như thế, nhưng ở nhân vật này lại cũng hiện diện một sự cô đơn và đáng thương vô cùng. Việc giác ngộ sớm giữa cả cộng đồng còn đang mê ngủ, đã đẩy anh vào tình thế một con thiên nga đứng giữa bầy vịt cỏ, đẩy Hạ Du vào tình cảnh lạc lõng và trơ trọi. Không ai thấu hiểu việc anh làm, người ta xa lánh, sợ hãi, thậm chí họ còn chửi anh là kẻ điên, thứ phản động đáng phải nhận sự trừng phạt thích đáng. Cái đám đông hay chính là hình ảnh của nhân dân Trung Quốc lúc bấy giờ, khi bàn tán về Hạ Du, việc anh làm và cái chết của anh, họ đã có một cái nhìn thật tiêu cực, họ dành cho anh những từ như “thằng quỷ sứ”, hay “cái thằng nhãi con ấy không muốn sống nữa, thế thôi!”, rồi thì “cái thằng nhãi con ấy chẳng ra cái thá gì hết”,… Hàng loạt những câu từ thật ghê gớm, thật cay nghiệt dành cho một chàng trai trẻ làm cách mạng, chẳng may bị bắt phải xử tử được tung ra, họ thoải mái phán xét bằng cái nhận thức u mê, tăm tối và lạc hậu mà không một chút xót thương. Hạ Du, anh đã gây nên tội nghiệt gì để phải thế? Đáng thương hơn nữa, cái chết của Hạ Du lại còn là do một tay người chú ruột sắp đặt, cái người được gọi là “cụ Ba” ấy đã đem cháu của mình ra thú, để rồi nhận ngon nghẻ đủ 20 lượng bạc trắng nhuốm đầy máu của cháu mình trong sung sướng. Rồi khốn nạn hơn nữa, cái chết của anh vì cách mạng, vì đất nước, vì nhân dân lại còn chẳng đáng giá bằng việc máu của anh tẩm vào bánh bao sẽ là thứ thuốc thần chữa khỏi cái bệnh “lao” quái ác, mà người ta tranh nhau giành giật. Người ta chỉ hóng cho anh bị xử tử rồi sẽ vội vàng hứng lấy máu anh để làm “thần dược” trị bệnh. Thật đáng lòng xót xa cho một kiếp người đầy lý tưởng cao đẹp, và cũng không khỏi ngao ngán cho cái xã hội Trung Quốc dẫu đã ở thế kỷ 20 mà vẫn còn đủ sự lạc hậu, u mê không lối thoát. Không chỉ những người ngoài, Hạ Du còn đáng thương hơn nữa bởi chính người mẹ rứt ruột đẻ ra anh cũng không hiểu được những việc con mình làm là cao quý, là xứng đáng, bà xấu hộ khi đến thăm mộ con, ngập ngừng không dám bước sang khu mộ của những người bị xử tử vì sợ phải điều tiếng. Có thể thấy rằng bi kịch của Hạ Du chính là sự cô đơn, lạnh lẽo trên con đường cách mạng, việc không được quần chúng thấu hiểu đã dẫn anh đến một kết cục đầy bi thảm. Anh chính là hình ảnh biểu trưng cho cuộc cách mạng Tân Hợi của Trung Quốc, góp phần đánh đổ chế độ phong kiến lạc hậu, lỗi thời, nhưng vì sự xa rời quần chúng, không đạt được sự ủng hộ của đa số dân chúng nên đã phải chấp nhận rơi vào thất bại. Từ đó cũng nhận thấy rằng cái chết của Hạ Du – một chiến sĩ cách mạng yêu nước, giữa sự u mê lạc hậu của nhân dân, thật vô nghĩa, cũng không đem lại một thứ hiệu quả gì mang tính tuyên truyền, mà chỉ càng khiến những đám đông ngu muội, thêm tin tưởng vào sự ngu dốt ấu trĩ của mình. Một cuộc cách mạng chỉ thực sự thành công và người chiến sĩ chỉ hy sinh có ý nghĩa khi mà được thấu hiểu và được ủng hộ, toàn dân đoàn kết vì một mục đích chung.
Cuối cùng nhân vật Hạ Du, cũng như ý nghĩa cách mạng không phải là nội dung chính yếu mà Lỗ Tấn muốn nhắm đến. Mà thực tế sự xuất hiện của nhân vật Hạ Du là để tô đậm thêm cái “căn bệnh tinh thần”, sự mê muội, chưa thức tỉnh của phần đông dân chúng Trung Quốc lúc bấy giờ, cũng như vạch trần sự đầu độc nguy hại của nhà nước phong kiến bảo thủ và lạc hậu dành cho nhân dân trong thời buổi loạn lạc lúc bấy giờ. Lỗ Tấn thực sự muốn tìm một phương “thuốc” để chữa tiệt cái căn bệnh ấy của quốc dân, nhưng có lẽ thời điểm viết tác phẩm này ông vẫn chưa xác định được, mà mới chỉ có niềm hy vọng vào tương lai tươi sáng của cách mạng.
Thuốc của Lỗ Tấn không chỉ nêu lên hiện thực đen tối của xã hội Trung Quốc trong một giai đoạn lịch sử đặc biệt là còn ngầm phê phán những hủ tục lạc hậu. Qua truyện ngắn, nhà văn Lỗ Tấn còn gợi ra mối quan hệ giữa quần chúng và cách mạng qua thái độ của nhân dân với người cộng sản Hạ Du.
