Hình lập phương là gì?

Hình lập phương là khối hình có tất cả 8 đỉnh với 6 mặt đều là hình vuông bằng nhau, 12 cạnh có chiều dài bằng nhau.

Hình lập phương cũng là hình khối lục diện vuông, hình hộp chữ nhật có các cạnh bằng nhau, hoặc hình khối mặt thoi vuông.

  • Đường chéo các mặt bên của khối có độ dài bằng nhau.
  • Đường chéo của hình khối cũng dài bằng nhau.
  • 6 mặt phẳng đối xứng bằng nhau
  • Có 12 cạnh bằng nhau

Tính diện tích toàn phần của hình lập phương

Stp=6.a²

Công thức tính diện tích xung quanh hình lập phương

Sxq = 4. a²

a: Các cạnh của hình lập phương.

Ví dụ: Tính diện tích của một hình lập phương có 6 cạnh đều có kích thước bằng nhau với chiều dài là 4cm.

Trả lời:

Gọi a là chiều dài các cạnh của hình lập phương.

Áp dụng theo công thức tính diện tích hình lập phương, ta có:

Stp = 6a² = 6 x (4)² = 6 x 16 = 96 cm2

Sxq = 4a² = 4 x (4)² = 4 x 16 = 64 cm2

Bài toán về tính thể tích khối lập phương: 

Bài 1: 

Một hình lập phương A có diện tích toàn phần là 384 cm². Hỏi hình lập phương đó có thể tích bao nhiêu?

Bài giải:

Diện tích một mặt của hình lập phương là: 384 : 6 = 64 cm²

Độ dài cạnh của hình lập phương là 8cm do 64 = 8 x 8.

Vậy, thể tích của hình lập phương là 8 x 8 x 8 = 5126 cm³

Bài 2: 

Diện tích đáy của một bể kính hình hộp chữ nhật là 250cm² và bể đang chứa nước. Biết rằng nếu cho một khối lập phương bằng kim loại cạnh 10cm vào bể (đáy trên khối lập phương bằng mặt nước) thì khối lập phương vừa vặn ngập trong nước . Hãy tính chiều cao mực nước.

Giải:

Tổng thể tích của lượng nước có trong bể và thể tích khối lập phương là: 250 x 10 = 2500 cm³

Thể tích của khối lập phương là: 10 x 10 x 10 = 1000cm³

Thể tích lượng nước có trong bể là: 2500 – 1000 = 1500cm³

Chiều cao mực nước là: 1500 : 250 = 6cm
