I. Hướng và điểm đặt của Lực đàn hồi của con lắc lò xo
– Lực đàn hồi xuất hiện ở 2 đầu của lò xo và tác dụng vào các vật tiếp xúc với lò xo, làm nó biến dạng.
– – Hướng của lực đàn hồi ở mỗi đầu của lò xo ngược với hướng của ngoại lực gây biến dạng. Tức là, khi bị dãn, lực đàn hồi của lò xo hướng theo trục của lò xo vào phía trong, còn khi bị nén, lực đàn hồi của lò xo hướng theo trục của lò xo ra ngoài.
II. Cách tính Độ lớn lực đàn hồi của lò xo, Công thức Định luật Húc (Hooke).
1. Thí nghiệm của định luật Húc (Hooke).
– Treo quả cân có trọng lượng P vào lò xo thì lò xo dãn ra, khi ở vị trí cân bằng ta có: F = P = mg.
– Treo tiếp 1,2 quả cân vào lo xo, ở mỗi làn, ta đo chiều dài l của lò xo khi có tải rồi tính độ dãn của lò xo: Δl = l – l0.

2. Giới hạn đàn hồi của lò xo
– Nếu trọng lượng của tải vượt quá một giá trị nào đó gọi là giới hạn đàn hồi thì độ dãn của lò xo sẽ không còn tỉ lệ với trọng lượng của tải và khi bỏ tải đi thì lò xo không co được về đến chiều dài l0 nữa.
3. Cách tính lực đàn hồi của lò xo, Công thức Định luật Húc (Hooke)
• Công thức tính lực đàn hồi của lò xo (Công thức định luật Húc):
– Trong giới hạn đàn hồi, độ lớn của lực đàn hồi của lò xo tỉ lệ thuận với độ biến dạng của lò xo.
– Trong đó:
k gọi là độ cứng (hay hệ số đàn hồi) của lò xo, có đơn vị là N/m.
Δl = |l – l0| là độ biến dạng (dãn hay nén) của lò xo.
– Khi quả cân đứng yên:

4. Chú ý
– Đối với dây cao su hay dây thép, lực đàn hồi chỉ xuất hiện khi bị ngoại lực kéo dãn. Vì thế lực đàn hồi trong trường hợp này gọi là lực căng.
– Đối với mặt tiếp xúc bị biến dạn khi bị ép vào nhau thì lực đàn hồi có phương vuông góc với mặt tiếp xúc.
